InnoTab 2 13.20718 US vers FR ?
#1
Bonjour j'ai commandé une InnoTab2 Français pour ma fille mais malheureusement celle que j'ai reçu est en Anglais.

Quand je vais dans "Settings/About" ca me dit "Trial Version 13.20718".

Est-ce que il y a moyen que je flash cette tablette pour la rendre en Français ?

Merci de votre aide

Adding English version

Hello, I recently purchased a french InnoTab 2 device for my daughter but sadly, the one I received is in English.

The tablet version is 13.20718. (Probably US since I am in Canada)

Is there a way to flash it in French ? or at worst, temporary mount a modified french file system from a shell script ?

Thank you

I don't think anyone has attempted to flash a different country firmware before. I would start by mounting it first and see if anything happens. You will need Shell access or write a shell script and replace the one that runs with the execute app so it runs yours and mounts a firmware from the SD card. Getting Shell access would be best so you can simply type the commands and see what it is doing.

To get Shell Access, you would need a serial -> usb converter cable and to solder it to the motherboard.

Would you happen to know where I could find a french "system_dump" ? Not the actual firmware but the "Loose Files" from the FileSystem.

Thanks

mifille may be able to dump the system files for you. You can extract the firmware .bin into "loose files" using 7zip or unsquash via linux.

Just went to purchase a InnoTab 2 in French for my daughter and I will keep that one for testing/development purposes.

Those tablets look very interesting and they are running Linux.
