big thanks Scottyost for the mod. I still am not sure about how to do that mod. I think I just didn't mention correctly that what I posted was the unmodded backup from the US update.

It sounds like maybe the edited file got messed up when you modded it which broke running anything. I can't say for sure though. At this point, you may need to SSH in to the device for shell access so you can start to debug it and can then flash the original firmware back if you need to.

At this point, you may need to SSH in to the device for shell access so you can start to debug it and can then flash the original firmware back if you need to. well i ordered the wire and took the innotab 3s+ apart but i cant get the solder to connect to the board i get it hot and put the wire down on the board and it doesnt stick so i dont know what to do theres no way of loading the flash some other way Edit: I tried to use superglue but was unable to get anything on the black command prompt so I gave up I think I'm going to try and return it. ill upload the backup file for innotab 3s+ after I get the new innotab I think ill leave the firmware to you I don't want to mess it up again

I am sorry to hear about the troubles. There are a number of factors that could have caused this. Perhaps the firmware was fine, but something else happened with flashing such as the SD card etc.

I am currently at work and will be heading out of town right after so the first time I would be able to mod it would be some time next week. You are welcome to jump on the IRC channel and see if Mick can help mod it for you sooner.
