Hello Spiffy Team,

I'm French (sorry ), but I write this post in english as it will be of interest of every ones !

I'm new to InnoTab (Storio here), and discovered your forum 4 days ago, immediately patched my (my boy's one) innotab II and harvested the Net to find games (found, french, not easy !) --> look in yggtorrent site.

Then, I hardly found my way in applications to easily make the games referenced in the device, ok, even found a script that also imported pictures/thumbnails of games... ok...

and I decided to create my owns, my son don't know how to read yet and the pictures was the ones of the cardrides... too small in 57x57.

so, after arround 3 hours of picture editors and 3B browser for SQLite app, I made it, and decide to give them to the community
1) using database editor (lilke me "3B browser for SQLite"), import manually each icon.

If you are familiar with patching firmware, you can use this script to automate the process. I am not going to post all the files, but if you are familiar enough with the process already, this should help you out. I am including any files that do not contain any copyrighted code, you must get the others yourself.

Folder Structure:
-> modfiles - folder
RunApp - file
RunAppMod - file
modfirmware.sh - file

Setup:
You will need to grab one of the Innotab2 firmware zip mods and copy (flash4, LLN and execute.ita)
to the package folder. If you want to do it how I have mine, you can grab the flash4 files for the I3 from HERE and put them in the package/flash4-innotab3 folder or whatever you want to call it. This way those files are there and handy in case you mod an I3 firmware and that person wants to use them, they will have them on the SD card already.

Next you will need to find the modified RunApp and copy it to /modfiles/RunAppMod then get a fresh backup copy of RunApp and copy it to /modfiles/RunApp. You should ensure the only differences between the fresh copy and the mod is the patch. If there is other code differences, you should find another copy or make the modifications to ensure the only difference is the patch. These are the files it will check against for differences so you must make sure they match.

To Run:
Now all you need to do is copy a firmware alongside your modfirmware.sh script and run it like this ./modfirmware.sh Firmware.bin
