I can also create new menu items. I basically can show you how to do anything on the device including modifying the entire dashboard. You can achieve this by copying "apps" to "/LF/Bulk/ProgramFiles" then run "lfpkg2 /LF/Bulk/ProgramFiles/*/meta.inf" from console.
More to come...Deak or Mick if you want to have a conference call on how to blow this device out of the water I'm down to explain and do a walk-through on the menu system and database infrastructure a little later on today.
Quite the process, I also modified the stock leapfrog video application and added all my DVD's instead of their AD's
The data is stored in "SharedPackageInfo.db"
Hi I have recently purchased 2 leaptvs as they seem to be on clearance or liquidation (costco for $25 CDN). I have followed the guides to ftp and install pondlewder with success! I love the work you guys have done with the leaptv. I mod almost everything I buy in some way or another. My only issue is like stated in the read me, that pondlewder will show lots of files and not just homebrew. This kinda confuses my wife and kids but i understand this will later be fixed in another release as well as the icon sizes being too big. Then I discovered the thread by xboxexpert with the games installed to the dashboard like purchased downloaded games. The icons look great and it would be a breeze to operate as a child.
My question is can I use a pondlewder backup and place it in lf/bulk/programfiles ?? The folder names in programfiles contain more text but include the format of what pondlewder names games you backup. And also Im confused about how I run the .inf file "from console"? can someone explain this a little more for me.
Thanks in advance.
