Firmware

Hi,

New to the forum, thanks for all the great info and tutorials so far!

My daughter has a Innotab 3S which was on firmware v45.40430 (uk) i was able to upgrade to the hacked firmware of the same version downloaded from this site no problem, but now when i connect the tab to PC the Learning Lodge is prompting to download and install a new firmware (i assume v52.50312) my question, is it safe to do this? i assume i then need to re run the latest custom firmware after that and all will be ok? which leads to my second question, the download link on the first page of the UK version links to the DE (German) file, is this ok to use or a bad link?
Once on the new firmware will the lodge still prompt me each time i connect to upgrade? (to the official version?)

*** Update, went ahead and flashed new firmware via Learning Lodge, then flashed the custom verison, all working ***
