Struggling to Connect

I to had been able to use it for quite a while now.  recently though Leapfrog connect was asking for an update and I kept on declining it... today i was transferring videos to leap pad and got a ".NET" error...only a quarter of the files transferred.  I wish I took a screen shot or something but I just declined it and tried to reconnect to leap pad again, now it does not want to connect... I don't want to update leapfrog connect because I think it will erase the videos and games I already have on it...I rebooted the computer hoping this would fix it, but nothing...If someone get's the ".NET" error let me know what it says, so I can research some more and maybe it's fixable....If I find a work around I will post.  Hopefully, Deak is able to find a fix...Also, i'm on windows 10 and it was working for me just fine...also worked for me under windows 8....
