How to get ADB access and WIP Status

It would be nice to figure out how the old InnoTab apps are run and see what security they have in place or if it is simply an android app wrapper that loads them or something.  I am not familiar with the Max so maybe all the old ones don't work and only Max android apps?

Have you tried installing other apk's such as a file manager, SU and games like Angry Birds?

OK, I've done some more works, and in fact, there is a wrapper to run .bin "old" innotab apps.
While downloading some cartridge, the bin file is downloaded, then all the wrapping is done by the console. It will build an apk and add some protection mechanism. Don't know yet how this works, so not able to mimic the wrapper.

And it's likely that the said protection mechanism phones home to VTech for authentication, yes?
