Any tablet besides the Max should be able to be modded with any version. Make sure you are updated to the latest firmware and if there is not a mod for your version, you will need to dump the firmware http://spiffyhacks.harmonypogo.com/thread-1.html and either patch it yourself or post it somewhere. If you have a 3s then you will need to edit the database for the dumping tool to include your UnitEID before the "app" will show up and be able to be run.
You can post your firmware for someone to mod for you, but it may be a little while before I can get to it. You are also welcome to post in the firmware requests forum after donating and I usually get those done within a day or two.
