Leap Pad Manager
(01-25-2021, 11:33 PM)Deak Phreak Wrote: I don't believe the program was ever coded to support the LeapTV sorry.  There should be a cache folder in the same location as the program.  ffmpeg.exe I believe should be in a folder called files.  So essentially when you are in the app folder, you should see a folder called cache, files and LeapPad Manager.exe among other files.  If you don't have that structure, create it and download ffmpeg.exe and place it in the files folder.

Oh, it still doesn't work with ffmpeg. I'm trying to get the FTP on the LeapTV by following this but it says I need to use leap pad manager.

I do believe it is the same though.

The same thing happened with me. If you know what is going on or how to fix it, I would be grateful. Undecided

I am not sure how old this is, or if it is even the right one since my other site went away already that had a lot of software on it. Anyway give it a shot. https://spiffyhacks.harmonypogo.com/uplo...public.zip

Also try running the manager as administrator. Right click on it and choose run as administrator. I never had a LeapTV so I can't help you much with it.

I need help please. I did run Leappad Manager as an administrator, when I go to video maker, it says "ffmpeg is missing and must be downloaded before you can convert videos.
Would you like me to download it for you?"
So I click "Yes"

And this is the Status:
Status: Could not find ffmpeg cache folder

So I then looked it up in folder and it's there as a 7z file, but the file size is 0 KB

Does anyone hvae tbe ffmpeg that I can download please

Badly need help ??? thanks

Download the FFMPEG.exe from the FFFMPEG website (https://www.ffmpeg.org/download.html) and place it in the cache folder

The Leappad Manager opens the site if you select NO to the question of downloading it for you

Open the meta.inf files in Notepad to confirm.

Bingo. It looks like at least two of them do - two that I recall seeing with this problem.

Do you know what controls the order the icons appear in the leap pad. EG. so that Toy Story 1, 2 and 3 will appear in order?

Also, I found that having blank categories (EG. Category=" ") caused the whole menu not to appear. Any rules around using categories? I wanted a blank one so that the text "Video" didn't appear over the top of the icon. I've downloaded and resized nice icons for the movies from the internet. But I'd still like the custom videos to appear at the end of the menu screen.

Cheers

From my Experience (using DEAK-0x00000000-000000 as my testing package) Titles are displayed in descending order of PackageID
LPAD-0x00001000-000000
DEAK-0x00020001-000000
DEAK-0x00000000-000000

Download FFMPEG from ffmpeg.org, place ffmpeg.exe in the 'LeapPad Manager/files' folder and try again, hope it helps
