Try manually creating the cache folder.  go to the same location as the program and create a new folder called cache then try.  If it still fails, go in to the cache folder and create a folder called videocache and try again.

still no luck, it continues to ask me to install ffmpeg on every start up like it hasn't each time i ask it to.

You need to download ffmpeg.exe from https://www.ffmpeg.org/download.html and put it in files folder for now, ffmpeg file is not in the old address

Hello all,

Hopefully this reaches someone

My kids leappad is having all sorts of issues and leapfrog support was pretty much worthless. My final hope is to use the leappad manager software to somehow get the system working again or at least find out if I should give up. Ive tried the spiffyhack link for the software but it seems to be dead. Does anyone have a copy of leappad manager that they can send directly?

yep. done from install file and by finding it with the install option

I have not messed with the Platinum so it might not be supported. The ultra had an encrypted database. The Platinum may be the same so you might be out of luck on that one.

I have a platinum, I tried to make a video as an app with your manager, actually it works and even app installed with all icon customization  too .. but the problem is some times it just come up with a green screen and some times with a very noisy and sound delay .. it seems its a encoding problem also sound rate difference :|

The conversion with ffmpeg would just need to be changed to match that. You could easily do that manually with ffmpeg via a command line and keep testing until it works. You can manually edit the tar and replace the video with the one you convert manually for testing.
