hello there, thanks for this gr8 app , except i have a issue perhaps regarding it.

i recently just placed a trailer onto a leappad explorer, but then after fast forwarding through the video the leappad began to freeze and turn slow, when the device turns on it goes no further than the "leappad explorer" text and goes into a blank screen and then again frezees on a white dot in the center of the screen when switching the device off, the leappad can ideally no longer be used properly, yet it can be detected by the computer and programs such as yours , so i deleted both the video and the video player off the device using your program, yet the leappad is still playing up, would you be able to tell me possibly how to fix this, whether i need to reset the leappad or something like that and how it would be possible?

Sorry, no I don't post release notes. The latest versions I included the ability to add additional install commands to apps. This was mainly to help get things like Doom and Duke Nukem installed with the installer. I think there was also a code change to try and help with crashes in the app.

Most likely needs to be added to a database like the Ultra which was only coded in for the Ultra since I had one to test with.  The files may be on the device, but if there is a database and the information is not in it, the tablet will not pick it up.  I am unsure if it is the same as the Ultra, perhaps I can code it to function the same and you can test it.  I can't guarantee the result though.

I see.. How do I go about accessing that file to add it? Or I'm willing to test! 

I too am having the same issue with the Platinum, cannot find the video file anywhere!

did this get sorted as pulling my hair out on this one!!

Sorry, it is hard for me to do any work on it without actually having a device in my hands. I could possibly check the code and have the platinum work as the Ultra does and see if it will add the videos in the database that way.

I will try to find time to make that change tonight. Keep in mind though, I don't know what will happen.

Ok grab this version and it should output some firmware information upon connecting.  Post that info in here.  Just extract the .exe to the location of the old app and overwrite the file.

hi Deak, wow, you work quick. thank you.
so i am a bit of a novice. i did the .exe overwrite re connected and this is what came up firmware:8.0.3.2573
disconnected and no change. i even deleted the movie and added it again to see if that would help.
