Figured someone may like this
Someone beat some decent scratches into the tab - time to redo!
Steps taken:
1) Sanded outer frame with 80 grit foam block, then 150 wet, 320 wet, 800 wet, 1000 wet and 2000 wet
2) Sanded inner (black) frame with 1000 grit (this is softer plastic - you DO NOT want to go lower than 800, it will eat it for lunch!)
3) Dried and degreased both
4) Painted outer frame with indoor Krylon chrome silver texture paint (very light texture - you wouldn't want smooth paint, as it's VERY easy to grip this way)
5) Painted inner frame with heavy duty 1 step automotive base/clear black (1999 Chrysler 300M black shimmers a bit)

6) Dried both with heat gun, as it's not warm enough and I am NOT warming up my paint booth just for this frame!
7) Reassemble, hide the one remaining screw that was left - wtf...
8) Pray that everything still works
9) Rue the day!
