I must be missing something from the instructions. I have an Innotab 3 v33.30621. I downloaded both the zip file versions, I3_US_v33.30621 and I3_US_v43.31226, When I connected the I3 to the computer, there were three drives, I, J and K , with K having the LLN folder. I formatted the K drive. I then unzipped and extracted directly to the K drive. I could see all the extracted files on the K drive., but I did not see anything in the Games folder. After disconnecting the device I navigated through the I3 menus and there was no flashing item with which to flash the memory. Even though I could see the extracted files in the K drive when connected to the computer, nothing else on the I3 changed, and I tried both of the zip files.

You must have copied it to the wrong location then. I know there is a "drive" that is labelled INSD or something like that which is not the correct one. Try copying the files to a different one of the 3.

I thought so too. Any thoughts as to which other drive, I or J? The I drive has these files: AutoRun.inf, InnoTab.xml, InnoTabSetup.exe and LLN.ico. The J drive has no empty space but Windows explorers shows no files on it. Also, which of the zip files should I be using? Thank you for your response.

Well you need to be using the zip file that matches your version exactly. The drive letters change depending on your setup so I can't tell you which is the correct one just based on the drive letters. I would assume you have it in the right place. You can always try putting some music on it and see where it shows up.

I have another question if anyone knows. My I3 has a CDFS hidden write protected partition that is visible in Windows Disk Management Utility WDMU. There is a controller on that partition that prevents removal of the hidden files. I tried WDMU and DISKPART and other methods to try and format / erase the CDFS partition, all to no avail. Any idea as to which tool will remove it? Then I guess I should be able to just extract the zip file to the partition? Thank you.
