Getting root access from UART - omga123 - 08-16-2021 on my platinum the UART shell was password protected heres how i by passed it  step 1. plug in the usb, connect and send the command "update" from the leap pad manager. the leap pad will crash. close leap pad manager step 2 . start the leapfrog connect, it will tune up your device and get to 40% then restart. when it does this unplug your device and close leapfrog connect with task manager. congrats you have root access but the device is stuck in recovery mode step 3. to reverse this, plug it in and start leapfrog connect after it checks but before it syncs close the program ,it will eject the device and will return your device to normal. when you restart it will "update" , relock the device and boot normally. leap pad manager https://www100.zippyshare.com/v/UYqEssc7/file.html
