SITE GOING AWAY - Deak Phreak - 11-27-2020
Hey everyone, it was fun, but my funds for this site are coming to an end, so I will not be renewing the website in mid December. Please gather any information you want by then. After December 17, the website will be gone.
EDIT: I forgot to remove the auto renew. We will have the site for 1 more year.

Man... this site is where I get all my LeapPad hacking info, and I'd hate to see it shut down... too bad
(better save it via the Internet Archive or something)Edit: if you have a personal site (like maybe a blog or something), could you maybe back up the hacking info to it? I'd really hate to see such useful information go down the drain of time, never to be seen again...
Edit 2: If you don't have a blog/site to back up the info to, you should try WordPress. It's free to make a blog, so you can use that to back up the hacking info. If WordPress fails try Google Sites (it's also free) and you can maybe move/archive the forums there because Google Sites doesn't force you to make a blog for the site.

So... I forgot to cancel my auto renew... woops. Looks like we will have this site for another year. Not much activity and I have forgotten how to do most things, but it will be here for reference for another year at least.

I feel the same way, man. I found this site just after it was going to have disappeared. I just got a LeapPad Ultra and found this guy's tool he built to upload videos and his Doom hack. I have a Clockwork orange on the LeapPad Ultra as a proof of concept. I want tog et Doom running on the LeapPad. I found the files. This whole site needs to be preserved on the Internet Archive.

I also just discovered your site, because I saw a LeapTV being sold on the Dutch Ebay equivalent, by somebody who had got one in the UK.
I was fascinated by the little box, it's similarities to the Ouya technically, and very impressed that LeapFrog still maintain services for the LeapTV.
I heard about the LeapTV due to comparisons with a new console being aimed at the family, and young kids, educational games, casual gaming.
The other things which are reminiscent is that all games are meant to adapt to the age/skill level of the player, to match little kids vs. adults etc..
The marketing is a bit different - less education, more couch co-op, but some of the same kids brands. https://intellivision.com/ (Link only for info.)
The physical media of the LeapTV is a very practical solution, and the hardware is indeed very good for young kids.
I'm really sorry to hear the web-site is going. Does it need particularly special or expensive hosting requirements?
I would be very interested in various files which are referenced, but I cannot find, such as ported source code/examples.
