Lemme know if you want more, I got a vast collection of youtube rips now.
I was also able to rip the "Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates" cartridge
cd into /LF/Cart/JAKE && tar -cf /LF/Bulk/jake.tar ./
Used FTP to get the .tar
I changed the manifest a little, PackageID "DEAK-0x11223344-000000" and a new Name.. so it didn't conflict.
I won't post it... but I can confirm it works without the cart... great for backing up carts that kids like to lose!

I had built in an option to dump the cart via my app which did seem to work, but when installing that backup on another tablet of mine crashed it. I never looked into it more since then so I am not sure the exact cause of it.

I've experienced a slight error when dumping a cart via FTP before.
Some of the sound files were missing. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that they failed to copy, or there were duplicate files, so it was probably my fault anyway!

Daughter just destroyed her Leappad 2 well i suspect it was her younger brother. At any rate i have a LeapPad 3 on the way will this program work to put movies on it? do i need to convert the movies down in size? I have blu-ray movies that i would like to add in .mkv format
By down size i mean because they are rips from my blu-ray collection so they are all 20+ GB per

I had to make some adjustments for my app to work with the LeapPad 3. I am unsure if the latest public release will work with it. You can try it and see.

I had to code it to work with it. The latest version should have support for it, but if it doesn't then it most likely just won't connect. I believe the videos still work with it.

Ok well i am having a problem i was able to get it onto the LeapPad 3 Frozen movie and under the parent/admin screen it shows in the "purchased" tab gives me option to "download" but times out saying "cannot acquire liscense for this content" any suggestions? it is on the leap pad but not in my daughters profile for viewing
