Has anyone tried these new flash files to see if it works on the I3? I got a bundle on ebay that has some I3 and I3s's so I should be able to do more testing as I can find the time.

Deak, I have tried both of the updated flash files, "old" and "orig". They both seem to have the screen calibration off but are closer. They are off in that the clicks are registering as if the screen were upside down and backwards. If that doesn't make sense, here is an illustration to explain it a little better:

Does that make sense?

Got it, thanks for the image

It may have been the same way with the flash associated with the firmware I downloaded, but I didn't notice any rhyme or reason before I tried the others.

On the Tab3 I have the same issue with the angry birds game. I just removed it for now.
I also have w bit of trouble with the letter puppy game. (can't think of the correct title, too lazy to go look atm.) the controls seem to be working in the correct places. However when you are tracing the letters you have to hit exactly the correct pixel to get the dog to do the trace otherwise it just makes the error noise. Perhaps there is a way to increase the size of the area for a correct area to touch to trace.
I hope that makes sense.
So far all the other games seem to be working correctly.

that is lame, and that is an official app too. I am not familiar with the I3, but mick said the screens are a little smaller. This may be causing the smaller touch zone. I will play around with mine when it arrives and can find some time Smile

Deak,
I am unfamiliar with what goes into the flash files you have created for the I3, but would it be possible to modify them slightly to just rotate the screen 180*? That would enable the screen and "clicks" to line up properly.

It would be preferable to have the screen rotated rather than the "click locations" with the location of the tethered stylus. As is with the screen alignment, the string tethering the stylus has to be stretched across the screen. If the screen was rotated, the string would dangle below the Innotab and not be in the way.

RE: Innotab 3 AutoDB and Angry Birds - Corelulos - 01-30-2014

I think that some of the trouble with getting the flash files to play on the I3 is that the screen size is smaller than that of the I3S. I have found that the games play just fine on the I3S. On the I3 the controls are in the opposite area of the screen as was illustrated above, or they are mirror reversed side to side.
On a couple games I found the game play is in landscape mode, the icon you are supposed to click is on one side or the other and the actual area where you click is on the opposite side in the same relevant area.
I am thinking that if we could perhaps just change the size of the game to match another that plays correctly then maybe that would help correct the issue?
I found a .swf /flash editor /decompiler to see what could be possible to try.
just need to figure out what the screen size is for the I3

I just received an Innotab 3 and 3s. I will play with these as soon as I get some free time.

Thanks Deak. I appreciate you working on this issue.

Quick question: Do the flash games/ebooks rotate with how the innotab is being help on other models (2, 2s, 3s)? It does not on the 3 and is upside down from how a right handed person would hold the system.
