Wow that was quick was just setting up the virtual machine for this still interested with pointers so can help mod future versions. Quick question does the firmware update wipe any settings?

Open the FAQ and find the part that says "How can I modify my own firmware?" This will give you the info of how to pack / unpack your firmware for editing.

You can then edit any of the code you wish. If you want to find out how to patch the firmware, simply look at the modified file of a patched firmware and compare it to an original firmware. You will see what code has been altered.

I no longer have this firmware on my computer. It would have to be re-patched
